3 Ways to Stay Cool in Power Ranch

Staying cool is a challenge when The Weather Channel  issues and “Excessive Heat Warning” for the Phoenix area, including Gilbert affecting our lifestyle here in Power Ranch.  Today, temperatures are expected to be between 113-117 degrees – YIKES!  It must be said that the BEST way to stay cool is to stay indoors with air conditioning.  But, if you are looking to have some fun, here are 3 ways to stay cool within Power Ranch:

1)  Visit The Ranch House Pool.  This requires the HOA (Home Owner Association) key.  This pool is excellent for swimming laps due to it’s design but kids love to play in it as well!  Shade can be found at various picnic tables under the ramadas.  These are often rented out so be sure not to invade on anyone’s paid usage.  There is also a small, shallow kiddie pool here.  Bathrooms are available within the pool area which is incredibly convenient for kids.

2)  The Splash Fountains at The Ranch House Park.  This also requires the HOA issued key to turn the fountains on.  It doesn’t matter how old you are, it is always fun to imagine yourself running through the splash fountain.  Just because it isn’t socially acceptable for adults to do this, doesn’t mean we don’t want to, right?  😉   There is a large tree adjacent to the fountains and my kids LOVE to climb this tree.

3) The Barn Pool.  This is an interactive pool with water features for the children (and grown ups too).  This pool is a hit with kids!

Stay cool and enjoy the rest of your summer.
